Biography:

Miranda is a Neonatal Nurse, Midwife and Lactation Consultant. Originally from the UK and now living in Melbourne, Australia, Miranda has been supporting families with newborns for 30 years. Miranda's PhD looked at how breastfeeding problems impact on women's transition to motherhood and what we can do to reduce poor breastfeeding outcomes. Her clinical work focusses on helping families, and the clinical staff looking after them, understand babies' feeding behaviours and how to work collaboratively to make infant feeding developmentally supportive.
