Biography:

Kimber Wakefield MacGibbon, MS, BSN, RN, is Executive Director of the Hyperemesis Education & Research (HER) Foundation, the first nonprofit organization dedicated to hyperemesis gravidarum (HG). A former ICU nurse, Kimber has spent more than 25 years advancing education, advocacy, and research to improve outcomes for patients with HG and their children. She has co-authored more than 35 peer-reviewed publications and textbook chapters, contributed to international guideline development, and helped establish foundational research linking HG to genetic and maternal-fetal health outcomes. Kimber also developed the validated HELP Score assessment tool and an HG Care app. Through the HER Foundation, she has supported thousands of families worldwide while advocating for earlier recognition, evidence-based treatment, and compassionate care for those affected by HG.
