Biography:

Dr. Antigoni Sarantaki is a Professor of Midwifery at the University of West Attica in Athens, Greece, with more than two decades of academic and clinical experience. She holds a PhD in Medicine and is an internationally recognized researcher and advocate for advancing perinatal care.
Her research focuses on maternal-infant health, reproductive genetics, and the integration of digital innovations, including artificial intelligence, into midwifery practice. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in high-impact journals and regularly speaks at international obstetric and midwifery conferences.
Dr. Sarantaki contributes to international policy-making and curriculum development and leads interdisciplinary initiatives aimed at reducing disparities in maternal and child health while ensuring technology enhances, rather than replaces, clinical expertise and maternal autonomy.
