Continuing Education

Are you working towards a professional designation or need to requalify? We have you covered! GOLD Midwifery 2019 will offer a variety of educational credits you can earn. For GOLD Midwifery 2019, receive up to 14.5 hours (plus 17.0 optional hours) of continuing education. We will apply for ACNM CEUs, MidPLUS CPD Points, Midwifery CEUs (MEAC) and CERPs. Easily keep track of the presentations you view and at the end of the conference, submit your attendance to automatically generate your accreditation certificate(s). GOLD Midwifery 2019 will apply for the following credits:


Midwifery CEUs (MEAC Schools)


This program will apply for Midwifery CEUs through the Midwifery Education & Accreditation Council. CEUs are applicable for Certified Professional Midwives recertifying through the North American Registry of Midwives (NARM)
.

Main Conference - 1.4 MEAC CEUs Applied for - Equivalent to 14 NARM CEUs
Managing Complications During Birth Add-on - 0.5 MEAC CEUs Applied for - Equivalent to 5 NARM CEUs
Mental Health in the Perinatal Period Add-on - 0.6 MEAC CEUs Approved - Equivalent to 6 NARM CEUs
Suturing Skills and Perineal Repair Add-on - 0.6 MEAC CEUs Approved - Equivalent to 6 NARM CEUs (Bridge - 6 Cat. 1)

ACNM CEUs

This program will apply for education hours by the American College of Nurse Midwives. This credit is applicable to Nurse-Midwives, Certified Midwives, Registered Nurses. May be accepted by other certifiying bodies.

CERPs

Applicable to IBCLC Lactation Consultants, Certified Lactation Consultants, Doulas & Birth Educators. GOLD Midwifery 2019 will apply for CERPs for the Main Conference, and for the Add-on Lecture Packs.
