At GOLD Midwifery we value the important role group coordinators play in promoting maternal health education. In addition to the discounts you receive when registering as a group, we are thrilled to unveil new rewards for you and your group members.

What does a Group Coordinator Do?
The conference is coming up and you and your friends are excited in attending! You can choose to register individually, or take advantage of extra savings when you gather 5 or more individuals together. Registering as a group is a great way for you to continue the conversation later on, and chat about all the great skills you've gained. The coordinator is responsible for recording the names, emails and any lecture pack add-ons your members may want. Check out the variety of tools we offer to help you through the process. You'll organize the payment from each of your members, and when you're all set, submit your group registration & a single payment through our online form. That's it, we'll do all the rest!

As you reach different levels, you'll unlock new rewards! Your reward pool includes:

  • GOLD Learning CE Library. Credit according to Country Category:
    • Category A - $150 Credit
    • Category B - $75 Credit
    • Category C&D - $50 Credit
    Level 1:

    Group Coordinator Effort Reward
    Congratulations, you've done it! Time to enjoy some free education.
    Requirement: 5 - 14 Members in your Group (including you as a registered delegate)
    Reward: Group Coordinator gets to choose 1 item from the reward pool above. This reward is only applicable for the coordinator.

       
    Level 2:

    Group Coordinator Effort Reward + Member Bonus
    Spread the word and increase your group size and everyone benefits.
    Requirement: 15+ Members in your Group
    Reward: Group Coordinator gets to choose 2 items from the reward pool above for themselves PLUS all Members of your Group receive GOLD Learning CE Library Credit according to Country Category:

    • Category A - $25 Credit
    • Category B - $15 Credit
    • Category C&D - $10 Credit

    Claiming Rewards:
    In order to be eligible for these programs, group coordinators will need to collect payment from all individuals and send in the total amount before the group is created. Payment can be made through Credit Card, Wire Transfer or Cheque. Individual member payments are not applicable for discounts & rewards. Group coordinators are also responsible for registering their group online using our group registration page.

    Translating Knowledge Into Practice: Creating Effective Lactation Care Plans Lecture Pack

    A lactation care plan serves several purposes. It provides the client with reminders about what was discussed during the visit with their care provider, what steps they should be following at home and when to follow up. For the care provider, the care plan helps to document care and also serves as a means to encourage collaboration and continuity of care. In short, an effective care plan is an essential tool for lactation professionals. This package provides a look at common clinical situations and each presentation provides a detailed look at how to put a plan in place, when to follow up and how to adjust the care plan as things evolve. Offering 6 continuing education hours, this program is approved for 0.6 MEAC Midwifery CEUs (Equivalent to 6 NARM CEUs) and 6 CERPs (6 L-CERPs). ACM CPD Recognised Hours and ACNM CEUs have been applied for.

As breastfeeding advocates we recognise that people in these countries generally have the most need for this information and limited resources, which is why in addition to our standard registration options, this year we are offering a special registration fee for residents from countries that fall in Cat.
